- sudden blurred vision or loss of sight
- confusion or unsteadiness

A Arm Weakness - Can the person raise both arms?
S Speech problems - Can the person speak clearly and understand what you say?
T Test these symptoms
On 5 December 2007, the Government launched the National Stroke Strategy for England, which has been welcomed as a significant step forward for stroke care by The Stroke Association
www.stroke.org.uk
Stroke is the third most common cause of death and the leading cause of adult disability, with someone in the UK having a stroke every five minutes. Part of the strategy is to encourage members of the public and health and social care staff to recognise the main symptons of stroke and know if needs to be treated as a medical emergency.
