The Child Bereavement Trust provides support and counselling for grieving families. It is a charity that cares for bereaved families by training and supporting professional carers. Established in 1994 by Jenni Thomas and Julia Samuel, it aims to increase awareness and acknowledge the importance of grief and loss. It offers a number of helpful books and videos for grieving families as well as professionals. There is also a Child Death Helpline, 0800 286 986, which is manned by other bereaved parents at certain times of the day (check for details).

The Natural Death Centre is a social-entreprenurial educational charity founded in 1991 to parallel the natural childbirth movement. The Centre wants to make death and dying an unexceptional topic for daily meditation and conversation. It provide the only impartial funeral advice service in the UK and acts as a consumers association. It publishes a wide number of publications, including the invaluable Natural Death Handbook.
